History of Dubai

Dubai is a city and emirate in he United Arab Emirates (UAE) known for its modern architecture, luxurious lifestyle, and bustling business environment. It is locatted on the southeastern coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE.




The history of Dubai stretches back for thousands of years, but the modern city as we know it today began to take shape in the early 20th century. In the early 19th century, Dubai was a small fishing and pearling village, but it began to grow in importance when it became a center for trade and commerce in the region. The discovery of oil in the 1960s transformed the city into a major economic hub, and it has continued to grow and develop at a rapid pace ever since.




Dubai has a rich and diverse culture, and it is a melting pot of different nationalities and cultures. The city is home to people from all over the world, and it is known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and welcoming attitude towards tourists and expatriates.
